Preparation

In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, ground cumin, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt.

Add chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well to coat. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers and grill for about 15 minutes or until cooked through. Turn the skewers occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Heat oil and butter in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

Add the tomato puree and cook for 2-3 minutes. Then, add the grilled chicken pieces and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add fresh cream and kasuri methi. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
