Preparation

1
In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes or until frothy.

2
In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture, yogurt, and melted butter. Mix well to form a soft dough.

3
Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.

4
Meanwhile, prepare the paneer stuffing by combining grated paneer, chopped onion, green chili, coriander leaves, garam masala, and salt in a bowl. Mix well.

5
Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts.

6
Take a dough ball and roll it out into a small circle. Place a portion of the paneer stuffing in the center. Fold the edges of the dough towards the center to seal the filling and form a ball. Flatten the ball gently.

7
Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat. Place the naan on the tawa and cook until golden brown spots appear on one side. Flip the naan and cook the other side as well. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.

8
Brush the cooked naan with melted butter before serving. Serve hot and enjoy!
