A popular Indo-Chinese dish made with paneer (cottage cheese) and bell peppers in a spicy sauce.

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan and add minced ginger and garlic. Saute for a minute.

Add sliced onions and cook until they become translucent.

Add bell peppers and green chilies, and saute for 2-3 minutes.

Add paneer cubes and stir-fry for a couple of minutes until they slightly brown.

In a small bowl, mix together tomato sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, cornflour mixture, and salt.

Pour this sauce mixture into the pan and mix well with the paneer and vegetables.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the paneer and vegetables.

Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot with rice or noodles.
