Preparation

Clean and wash the crabmeat thoroughly. Drain and set aside.

Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add the grated ginger and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for another minute.

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.

Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well.

Cook the masala for a few minutes until the oil starts to separate from the sides.

Add the cleaned crabmeat to the masala and mix well, ensuring that all pieces are coated with the masala.

Cover the pan and cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes, or until the crabmeat is cooked through.

Sprinkle garam masala over the crabmeat masala and mix gently.
