Preparation

Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Saute until they turn golden brown.

Add the ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add the tomato puree and cook for another 5 minutes until the oil separates.

In a blender, grind the soaked cashew nuts with some water to make a smooth paste.

Add the cashew nut paste to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala. Mix well.

Add milk and stir continuously until the mixture thickens.

Add the paneer cubes and grated cheese. Mix gently to coat the paneer with the sauce.

Cook for another 5 minutes on low heat.

Add crushed kasuri methi and fresh cream. Stir well.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with naan or rice.
