Preparation

Heat ghee in a pan over low heat.

Add besan and roast it on low flame for 15-20 minutes, stirring continuously, until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.

In a separate pan, heat sugar and milk together until sugar dissolves completely.

Add the besan mixture to the sugar syrup and mix well.

Keep stirring the mixture until it thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.

Add cardamom powder and mix well.

Pour the mixture into a greased tray and spread it evenly.

Garnish with slivered almonds and chopped pistachios.

Allow it to cool completely and then cut into desired shapes.
