Preparation

1
In a mixing bowl, combine hung curd, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, chat masala, cumin powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.

2
Add the paneer cubes to the marinade and gently toss until each paneer cube is well-coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or longer for better flavor.

3
Preheat a grill pan or preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). If using a grill pan, brush it with a little oil to prevent sticking.

4
Skewer the marinated paneer cubes onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 10-15 minutes before skewering to prevent them from burning.

5
Grill the paneer skewers on the preheated grill pan or in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, turning them occasionally to ensure even cooking. The paneer cubes should be grilled until slightly charred and golden.

6
Once cooked, remove the skewers from the heat and serve the hot paneer tikka as an appetizer or as a filling for wraps or rolls.
