Preparation

In a mixing bowl, add cleaned and deveined prawns.

Add ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice, corn flour, rice flour, and salt. Mix well to coat the prawns evenly.

Let the prawns marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai for deep-frying.

Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the marinated prawns into the oil. Fry in batches for about 3-4 minutes or until the prawns turn golden brown and crispy.

Remove the fried prawns from oil and place them on a kitchen towel to remove excess oil.

In a separate pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Add curry leaves and slit green chilies. Saute for a minute.

Add the fried prawns to the pan and toss well to coat them with the tempering.

Serve hot as a starter or appetizer.
