Preparation

In a large bowl, marinate the chicken with yogurt, ginger, garlic, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.

Add the marinated chicken and cook until it turns brown on all sides.

Add the tomato puree, coriander powder, garam masala, and green chilies. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add a little water if needed to adjust the consistency of the gravy. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Sprinkle kasuri methi and lemon juice on top. Mix well.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
