A delicious and spicy Indian fish dish cooked on a tawa (griddle)

Preparation

In a bowl, mix ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, and salt to make a marinade.

Add the fish pieces to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Heat oil on a tawa or griddle over medium heat.

Place the marinated fish pieces on the heated tawa and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve hot with rice or roti, along with some lemon wedges and onion slices.
