Preparation

Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes.

In a bowl, mix cornstarch, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt to make a smooth batter.

Add the potato cubes to the batter and coat them well.

Heat oil in a deep pan for frying.

Once the oil is hot, add the coated potato cubes and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove and keep aside.

In the same pan, heat some more oil and add cumin seeds, curry leaves, and slit green chilies.

Add the fried potato cubes to the pan and toss well to coat them with the spices.

Turn off the heat and add yogurt, mixing gently to coat the potatoes.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot as a snack or appetizer.
