Preparation

Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.

Add the ginger-garlic paste and green chili. Sauté for another minute.

Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala.

In a blender, grind the soaked cashew nuts into a smooth paste. Add the cashew paste to the pan and mix well.

Add the kashmiri red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Mix everything together.

Add salt to taste and cook the masala for 2-3 minutes.

Add water and bring the gravy to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the cubed paneer and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the paneer to absorb the flavors.

Add fresh cream and crushed kasuri methi. Mix well and cook for another minute.

Remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
