1
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

2
Add the yogurt and milk to the dry ingredients and mix well to form a dough.

3
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, until it becomes smooth and elastic.

4
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.

5
Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and flatten each portion into a circle.

6
Place a tablespoon of grated paneer and a few raisins in the center of each flattened dough.

7
Bring the edges of the dough together to seal the paneer and raisins inside.

8
Roll out the stuffed dough into a naan shape, about 1/4 inch thick.

9
Heat a non-stick skillet or tawa over medium heat.

10
Place the rolled out naan on the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, until golden brown spots appear.

11
Brush the cooked naan with melted butter.

12
Repeat the process with the remaining dough portions.

13
Serve the cheese raisin naan hot with your favorite curry or dip.
