In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, and salt.

Gradually add water to the bowl and whisk until you have a smooth batter of pouring consistency.

Dip the fish pieces into the batter, coating them evenly.

Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai over medium-high heat.

Carefully drop the fish pieces into the hot oil. Fry them in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.

Fry the fish pakoras until they turn golden brown and crispy, turning them occasionally.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried fish pakoras from the oil and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
