Preparation

In a blender, grind the soaked poppy seeds and mustard seeds to a smooth paste.

Heat mustard oil in a deep pan.

Add the paanch phoron and let it splutter.

Add the bitter gourd, eggplant, potato, raw banana, radish, and drumsticks to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add ginger, green chilies, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add the ground paste and mix well.

Pour in the milk and cook for another 5 minutes.

Serve hot with steamed rice.
