Preparation

In a heavy-bottomed pan, bring the milk to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 60-70 minutes, stirring occasionally. This will help the milk thicken.

Add sugar and cardamom powder to the milk and mix well.

Continue to simmer for another 10 minutes, until the mixture thickens further.

Remove from heat and let it cool.

Refrigerate for a few hours before serving, allowing the flavors to meld.
